Itinerary

  1. MARBELLA

Arrive in Marbella, the chicest resort along the Costa del Sol. Check in at your hotel and start exploring this Andalucian port at the foot of the Sierra Blanca that still displays traces of its past in its palatial town hall, medieval ruins, and ancient Moorish walls.

  2. MARBELLA I MALAGA I MIJAS I MARBELLA

Today your driver will be taking you to Malaga, the capital city of Costa del Sol, where you will enjoy a private guided tour. Visit Plaza de la Merced, in the heart of the historic city center. The area is surrounded by monuments from Malaga’s rich past such as the “Casa Natal” or birthplace of the world famous artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso, the Roman Theater, Gibralfaro Castle with its breathtaking views over the city, as well as the Alcazaba, an Arabian fort built in the 11th century on the remains of a Roman fortress. After a delightful “Tapas” lunch, continue to Mijas, a typically Andalusian whitewashed village. (B,L)

  3. MARBELLA I GRANADA I MARBELLA

Your full day excursion takes you to Granada, a city known for the winding alleys of the medina-like Albaicín (the old Muslim quarter), for the majestic views of the snowcapped Sierra Nevada, and for the passionate gypsy flamenco. Your private guided tour includes a visit of the Alhambra Palace, the hilltop 13th-century fortress of the Nasrid kings, and of its cypress tree-studded Generalife Gardens. Lunch in a local restaurant is included. (B,L)

  4. MARBELLA I RONDA I PUERTO BANUS I MARBELLA

Today visit Ronda, a small town high in the Serranía de Ronda Mountains, whose main attraction is a deep gorge spanned by three bridges over the Guadalevín River. Your private guided tour will take you to the old quarter. Stroll along its narrow streets lined up with beautiful Moorishstyle buildings and stop for a visit of Santa María Church, Don Bosco House, and the Arena, the oldest bullring in Spain. Built in 1785, the Plaza de Toros is the setting for the yearly Corrida Goyesca and a work of architectural beauty. Before returning to Marbella, stop in Puerto Banús, a very picturesque fishing village, home to top quality shops and an array of high-end bars and restaurants. (B)

  5. MARBELLA

Full day at leisure to relax on the beach or to wander the cobblestone streets lined up with whitewashed houses of the Old Town. Tonight, your private driver will take you to a local restaurant for a “Paella Feast”. Transfers to and from the restaurant are included. (B,D)

  6. MARBELLA TO USA (OR EXTEND YOUR STAY)

Say “adiós” to Spain or extend your stay. (B)
